Steps for the Activity

1. Create a story that reflects your past, present, and future. In this story, share where you come from, where you are now, and what your dreams for the future are. You will need to sit and think about your past, your present life, and your future dreams and goals

   • Past: Where do you come from? What past events stand out in your mind and helped shape you into the person you are today?
   • Present: Who are you now? What do you wish to share about your current self? Your likes? Your talents? Your relationships?
   • Future: What are your dreams and goals for the future? Where do you envision you will be in ten years? What will you be doing?

2. Draw a storyboard and script for each screen of your digital story. Use your storyboard sheet or an online storyboard app to clearly detail both your visuals and your narration.

3. Organize your visuals: take photographs with your camera or iPad, paint or draw images with pen/paint and paper or use the web or iPad apps. Store all of your images in a special folder for this project on your iPad.

4. Plan out all of your images, animations, and what you will say BEFORE beginning to record your video. The Educreations app will help you make an interesting and appealing video to share with others on the web or their mobile devices.
